Before the Rain Starts
Sample story, English. Two people on a balcony in the twenty minutes when the sky has already decided and nothing has happened yet.
The light went first. Not darker exactly, but flatter, the way it goes when the sky has made a decision and is waiting for everyone else to notice. On the balcony the plastic chairs stayed warm and the air did not move at all.
